David is a singer/songwriter/musician that writes all the songs himself. He plays multiple instruments and records and produces his own recordings. Many of his songs are from real life experiences and events that have affected his life. He documents these events and feelings in his songs for everyone to enjoy.

Many of his songs are written while boating on Naragansett bay during the summer months or while on vacation in the south during the cold northeastern months. Playing his guitar on a sandy beach with clear blue water is one of his favorite places to write new songs.

Many of David's songs are dedicated to a person or event. You can hear these dedications in "Proud To Be American" ,"IF I", "In My Arms", "Change The World", "No Clouds" and "Perfect Blue".

David lives to play music on his Gibson Les Paul, Ibanez, Taylor acoustic, Dean acoustic and his many other instruments. These are the same instruments used by his favorite musicians Stevie Ray Vaughan, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Styx, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Eagles, Pink Floyd, Areosmith, America, and The Beatles.

Now that David Briel's music can be heard from anywhere in the world he plans to expand his horizons by using the Internet and his Web site davidbriel.com to expose more people to the music and lyrics. You can listen to his songs online and even support the band by buying a CD. David's plans to schedule more live appearances in the future.
